RIG Arts have organised ‘Bye to the Bells’ to celebrate the Drumfrochar Road flat and their iconic ‘bell towers’ before they are sadly demolished this year.
The flats have been a warm home to many Broomhill residents over the years, but sadly they are in such a state of disrepair that River Clyde Homes are now unable to restore and save them. New flats will be built in their place, providing new accommodation for hundreds of people.
Join us on 1st April from 6-9pm at Drumfrochar Square for free art and music workshops and performances, disco bounce, and free teas and coffees to make one last collective memory of the bell towers.
