In this weeks Broomy’s Bairns workshop, the kids were celebrating the Easter Holidays and the start of spring time by making a large collaborative collage.
The children used paper and pencils to draw and cut out the images they have of springtime – so lots of baby animals and daffodils! Using cotton wool balls, they were able to add fluffy tails to backs of their rabbits, and clouds to the otherwise clear blue sky.
They used crushed up crepe-paper and lollypop tickets to make roses and daffodils, as well making their own rabbit masks!
The Broomy’s Bairns Art Classes are every Wednesday at the Broomhill Art Flat, with the first session starting at 3.30pm, until 4.30pm, then the next session starting at 4.40pm, and finished up at 5.30pm.
