Here’s a sneak-peek at our beautiful heritage mural by local artist Jim Strachan.

Jim has been working on the mural over the last couple of months for the community of Broomhill, inspired by the area’s history, heritage and immediate surroundings.  Featuring images of the shipbuilders, the stunning scenery of the area, factory and mill workers, as well as local legends and mythologies.

The completed mural will be placed in the Broomhill area, for generations to enjoy!

Local residents can come along and see a preview of the mural from the 27th of October, until the 3rd of November (10am – 3pm every day), at the Tobacco Warehouse (2 Haig Street, Greenock, PA15 1JG), as part of the Galoshans Festival!
