The great work has continued in our Urban Ceramics class, for the map that we are putting together of the area! It will be painted onto a 5×5′ board, with details added using tissue paper and collage, then the buildings will be placed onto the map, creating an interactive installation. We are making small objects/landmarks of the Inverclyde area, to add to the map.
Angela began the workshop yesterday by starting work on her miniature version of a crane that used to be in the harbour, commanding the Inverclyde shoreline. Lily started work on a new piece; a footballer with a football, for Greenock Morton.
Grace made beautiful, delicate little birds this week, and Angela starting to work on her miniature boats for going in the Clyde,
This workshop welcomes new members and is open to all ages and abilities, with children under 12 to be accompanied by an adult.
