Broomy’s Bees – Sensory Garden

VOTE BROOMY'S BEES

VOTING HAS NOW CLOSED.

Thank you to everyone who voted for Broomy’s Bees in the  Tesco’s Bags of Help initiative. No matter what the outcome, we know that we have achieved at least £8,000 to turn this project into a reality, and bring a new oasis of wildlife to Broomhill.

RIG Arts plan to continue with the regeneration of Broomhill by building an educational sensory garden that will link with the Tate & Lyle sugar heritage of the area. We hope the garden will support a mini-ecosystem for the area which will in turn support the important campaign to save Britain’s bees. We believe Tate & Lyle’s Golden Syrup motto – ‘Out of the strong came forth sweetness’ – can be adapted to Greenock – Out of our strong heritage will be a sweet future.
